Has anyone ever heard of SCIATOL (an herbal pill for relief of back pain/sciatica)?

I have horrible sciatica that runs down the right side of my body (from lower back down into the butt and through my leg into my foot/toes).

It is pretty much unbearable so I was googling info about sciatic pain relief and came across this herbal supplement called Sciatol…has anyone heard of it? Heres the link: http://sciatol.com/

I cant find too much info online about it so that makes me feel sketchy about trying it. Of course it sounds great from the ad…but then all ads make their product sound great. I really need to find out more about it before I try it……………………..so please, if you know anything about it can you fill me in? Thanks!

Never heard of it see a herbalist , don’t buy anything online has you may never hae a recourse in the event the product isn’t working . Good luck

back pain maybe kidney pain?

Well maybe I’m worrying or maybe I’m wrong …. but for the past 3 days I’ve been gettin a back pain , the thing that scares me is I went out to drink like 3 beers . And the next morning I still had the pain , I have been drinking a lot of water and I still got pain in my back…BUT I don’t have any symptoms , it doesn’t burn when I urine , my back isn’t sensitive , I’m not fatigued , no fever etc. Just back pain . And the pain is high up my spine near a lil bit lower than the bottom of my shoulder blades mainly on my right side near the spine …..I’m just worried. Its either a crappy bed , back pain , or kidney?………..I’m not an alcoholic , I’m an occasional drinker …..Occasional

well sounds like you may have a kidney infection or something.. contact your local doctors and have them check

What could cause stomach pain that lasts for weeks?

Three weeks ago my stomach started hurting out of nowhere. I had a very upset stomach all night and thought I’d caught a stomach virus or mild food poisoning. The next morning the pain was there but my stomach had calmed down. The pain lasted for days without stopping so I thought I’d had an ovarian cyst rupture (this happened a year ago with the same symptoms).

Went to the doctor and there was no cyst but I had a bladder infection. I took the medication for a week but the pain didn’t go away or the nausea. Went back to the doctor and the bladder infection was gone so they gave me medicine for acid reflux. It didn’t help.

Now, three weeks later, I still have constant stomach pain and pressure on my stomach. It doesn’t stay in one spot and moves between the middle of my stomach and my lower stomach. I also feel nausea a lot. I don’t notice any difference based on when or what I eat. I always feel like I’m starting to get another virus and then it passes. The pain won’t go away and makes it hard to sleep sometimes because it’s very uncomfortable. My doctor had me stop eating or drinking any dairy products. That helped for two days but now it’s coming back again.

Has anyone ever had anything like this? Could he be right and it really does take a few weeks for the body’s digestive system to recover from a stomach virus? The virus only lasted the night though, and I never threw up. The pain and constantly going to the bathroom were the only symptoms that night and I still had the pain after that passed.

Almost 5 months and having lower abdominal pain?

I’m occasionally experiencing lower abdominal pain, it’s only severe when I move a certain way, cough or sneeze. I’ve been told that it may be caused by the baby balling up in one place, the baby may be moving or just simply growing. It’s been going on about 2 days. Should I wait it out or contact my doctor?

Is the pain like muscle pain? If so, it could be that your muscles or ligaments are trying to stretch - especially if you feel them when you cough or sneeze. If this is so, they will go away.
If you’re really uncomfortable, call the doctor - that’s what they’re there for. =) They don’t mind those kind of questions. I’m sure they get them all the time, and are used to answering these kind of questions. They’d rather have you call, and tell you you’re just fine, than wait too long, and have something wrong with you.
Good luck!

Lower back pain during Abdominal exercise?

Well as the title says, I get pain in my lower back whenever I do Abdominal exercises. What could be the reason for my back pain? Weak lower pain? Poor form? Im just a little confused and not sure what to do.

What abdominal exercises in particular? A crunch should have no lower back movement, so if it hurts in this situation then it’s due to poor form. When performing a sit up however, you may try to compensate with your lower back if your hip flexors are too weak, if this is the case then either strengthen your hip flexors or stick to abdominal and oblique isolation exercises.

Can pregnancy be the cause of sharp pain on the lower right side of my stomach?

I have been having nausea and yesterday the smell of alcohol made me want to throw up and I have Bern going to the bathroom to pee a lot and there are other symptoms I’m having but could the sharp stomach be another symptom?

I would take a pregnancy test and make a doctors appointment to get things checked out.

Lower Abdominal Pain (centre) and spotting?

I started to feel the pain on the lower abdominal area since yesterday. The pain is not constant but when I sneeze or cough, or if i walk (with big steps), I feel the pain. The pain feels like a bruise or resembles torn muscle when overexercised.

This morning, there was spotting.

What could be wrong with me?

sounds like it could be endometriosis, my wife had the same symptoms….

Is it possible to create pain/inflammation all in your mind?

I was looking for some resources that explore the possibility of people creating pain/ medical conditions all in their own minds.

The reason I ask this, is that several doctors are telling me this about my current medical condition.

In a nutshell I protected sex with a girl and I was 150% certain that she had given me an STD, and I have developed different symptoms that doctors would just scratch their heads and say "that doesnt look like anything" in the mean time Im dealing with 24/7 pain in the penis for the last month and a half, I see it kind of inflamed and I feel constant pain, basically I have run out of doctors to visit.

The scary side is I though something could be wrong with my testicles and low and behold now my testicles now ache…

So can I really be doing all this to myself? or could there still be something wrong with me (if there is I have run out of doctors)

If i made this all happen to me, to do I undo this?!

Since I don’t know you, I certainly can’t say for sure that you are doing this to yourself. But in theory, yes, the mind has a very powerful influence on our perceptions of pain, our immunity, and much more. So… again in theory… one thing you could try is to find a hypnotherapist who works with psychosomatic conditions and pain management. There is a lot of evidence that they can help in this area.

Back pain upper left side?

Okay for about 4 months I have noticed a pain near my left shoulder blade and around that area. This is located upper left back and the pain has gotten worse over this time. It is hard to really put into words as to how it feels, it makes me feel sick to the stomach, very tired and fatigue, it feels burning and tender. I have had a massage therapist and she said she could feel the area as it is inflammed and where the pain is, you can see a small buldge area which is like a sore knot. I am scheduled to see a chiropractor next tuesday so I hope it works out. After receiving a great massage, I notice the pain goes away somewhat but comes right back the next day. I sleep with a heating pad and take flexorol and 800mg ibrophen but nothing really works. I also go a xray done of my spine and that came back normal. I am wondering what could cause this pain as it feels like its located all around on my upper left side of the back near and under the shoulder blade area and it moves to the right some near the center of my back. My breathing is fine and I feel okay but worried about this. I am 27 and in fair shape, office job, not a gym rat.
Thanks

Hate to say this, but it could be the desk job. I’m currently a massage therapy student, but I previously worked a software support hotline for about ten years. I developed the same type of pain, which seemed to worsen later in the day. I really didn’t make the connection between the pain and my job until I made a career change and got away from the desk. Apparently, in my case the combination of sitting at the desk, poor posture, keyboard a little too high, hours on the phone each day, and stress resulted repetitive strain to the muscles that move the shoulders. (My shoulders were tensed in a perpetual shrug.) You might have better luck applying an ice pack instead of heat, make sure that your workstation is ergonomically suited to you, and invest in a phone headset if you don’t already have one.
