Lower back pain that radiates to the left leg?

got a small disc herniation on the right side, and nerve irritation on the left.

Can anyone suggest routine excercises that may help manage the pain?

Besides the cortizone shot you can also get a Vitamine B shot. That works wonders and also last about 4 – 6 weeks. I also found that moderate wallking a couple of times a day in a level place helped with the pain and well as an occasional massage.

What can i do about a minor lower back pain?

I am 45 year old. And i work 10-12 hors a day. I have very minor pain in my lower back . Is there any reccomendation or any exercise i can do to help it get better.

For the pain use ice for fifteen minutes out of an hour whenever you can. Stretching is going to help but when you are standing or even sitting squeeze the buttocks together as if someone is attempting to pull a hundred dollar bill from between the cheeks. This will help to level the pelvis and reduce pain. Lie on the floor on your back and slowly bring one knee up to the chest. Bear hug it into the chest and hold for ten seconds. Relax but don't let go of the leg and repeat the pull four more times. Slowly return the leg to the floor and do the opposite leg. When the last repetition has been done do not return the leg to the floor but bring the opposite leg up and pull both of them into the chest. Hold for ten seconds and relax but hold both legs. Repeat that cycle four more times. At the end of the last repetition bring one leg down to the floor and put the foot flat on the floor with the knee bent at 90 degrees. Bring the opposite leg down in the same way and rock the knees to one side attempting to put the knees on the floor with your shoulders remaining on the floor. Return to the starting position and then go to the opposite side. This can be done as many times as you want. Do this series twice a day and more if possible.

I have pain in my lower back sometimes hips, could this be kidney problems? How can I tell the difference?

Is this just back pain or kidney problems

Of course a doctor is the first person to ask, but we humans often carry our stress in our lower backs. Kidney pain doesn't go to the hips, but it's best you just ask the doc, okay?

What can cause a person to have a burning searing pain in back and groin and leg?

I have had two discectomies, just had a epidural steriod injection.I am experiencing a increase in pain.On a scale of 1-10,I am a 9.If these needles work, how long will this last? After awhile a person gets tired of pain every single day and nothing relieves it.Does back pain ever go away?A person can't even function at everyday things the pain is so intense. Please anyone, answer this question.

I was bed ridden for three years with ruptured disks in my lumbar region. I had a lumbardiskotomy 15 years ago and haven't had much pain since then. But I do remember those years. I know what you are going through. You need to find a pain management support group through your local Doctor or Hospital. I wanted to die and thought of suicide many times when the pain over came me. Constant intense pain causes depression and it is very bad. So please go find some one to support you mentally. Taking action will make you feel better. Good Luck.

Kidney stone. A stone in the kidney. If the stone is large enough to block the tube (ureter) and stop the flow of urine from the kidney, it must be removed. Removal of stone can be done endoscopically by UreteroRenoScope or Cystoscope.
Renal colic, sharp, strong spasmodic pain in the lower back over the kidney area that may also be felt in the groin. Renal colic is most often caused by spasm of ureter due to obstruction by stone which sticks or passes through it

The Synaptic Approach
——————————————————————————–

Synaptic (sin-ap-tik) – from the Greek word “SUNAPTOS,”
which means “joined together”

Synaptic Chiropractic Center’s mission is to “join together” all aspects of healthcare in order to maximize our patients results. Synaptic Chiropractic Center was founded on the principle that all dysfunctions (ie. pain & disease) require 4 core methods of treatment. These methods include Active Care, Passive CARE, Nutrition, and Mental Being. Many healthcare providers fall short in that they only address 1 or 2 of these methods, while ignoring the others. Synaptic Chiropractic Center embraces each method, and recognizes the importance of “joining them together” for each patient.

At Synaptic Chiropractic Center we are also proud of our evidence based approach to treatment protocols. Every method of treatment prescribed by Synaptic Chiropractic Center is researched and proven effective. We realize that each dysfunction has a cause; our goal is to find the cause and treat it with a proven protocol that addresses all 4 components of the healthcare continuum.

At Synaptic Chiropractic Center we also realize that health is not something that a doctor gives to a patient, rather it is something a patient must actively pursue. The pursuit of heath requires that each person embrace the 4 components of the healthcare continuum and implement them into their everyday lives. We refer to this approach as “The Synaptic Lifestyle™.”

To read more about the 4 components of healthcare and how Synaptic Chiropractic Center implements them in our protocols please visit the ACTIVE CARE, PASSIVE CARE, NUTRITION, and MENTAL BEING located in the drop-down menu in the upper right hand corner.
