I made this video for Chrissy because she said it would be nice to have this song on youtube with lyrics
The first time I heard it was on Grey’s anatomy this week (I believe episode 5 of season 5). It was when they had the domino surgery for 12 kidney transplants at once. Anyways, so like yeah… I loved the song
Well, I hope you guys like it as much as I do =]
Lyrics:
This is how the story went
I met someone by accident
That blew me away
That blew me away
It was in the darkest of my days
When you took my sorrow and you took my pain
And buried them away, you buried them away
And I wish I could lay down beside you
When the day is done
And wake up to your face against the morning sun
But like everything I’ve ever known
You’ll disappear one day
So I’ll spend my whole life hiding my heart away
You dropped me off at the train station
Put a kiss on top of my head
You watched me wave
Watched me wave
Then you went on home to your skyscrapers
Neon lights and waiting papers
That you call home
You call it home
And I wish I could lay down beside you
When the day is done
And wake up to your face against the morning sun
But like everything I’ve ever known
You’ll disappear one day
So I’ll spend my whole life hiding my heart away
I woke up feeling heavy hearted
I’m going back to where I started
The morning rain
The morning rain
And although I wish that you were near
That same old road that brought me here
Is calling me home
Is calling me home
And I wish I could lay down beside you
When the day is done
And wake up to your face against the morning sun
But like everything I’ve ever known
You’ll disappear someday
So I’ll spend my whole life hiding my heart away
And I can’t spend my whole life hiding my heart away

T.J. Ford’s teammates said the Toronto Raptors guard was moving before he was taken off the court on a stretcher following a scary fall late in Tuesday night’s 100-88 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.
Ford, who missed the 2004-05 season with Milwaukee following neck surgery, stole the ball and was headed toward a breakaway basket when Atlanta rookie Al Horford hit his face with his hand. Ford landed hard on his back, his head bouncing off the floor.
“After a while I could see him moving and that was a relief,” Toronto’s Chris Bosh said, adding there was immediate concern about Ford because everyone knew his injury history.
“It turns my stomach because of who it is,” Bosh said. “Like I say, we know about his situation and everything.
“He was conscious. He wasn’t trying to move too much. I’m sure he was feeling pain in his arms and legs. I just hope he’s OK.”
Raptors spokesman Jim LaBumbard confirmed Ford “had feeling in his upper and lower extremities when he was taken off the floor.”
Ford was taken to Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Raptors director of basketball operations Marc Eversley and istant trainer Rory Mullin were with him at the hospital.
LaBumbard said it was expected Ford would remain at the hospital through the night.
Toronto coach Sam Mitchell reacted with immediate anger to the hard foul and had a brief exchange of words with Atlanta coach Mike Woodson.
“We’re just concerned about T.J.,” Mitchell said. “There’s not much more to say. We’ve just got to wait and see.”
Horford insisted he did not try to injure Ford, who had 26 points.
“Definitely not. I’m not a dirty player,” Horford said.
Horford said he was fooled by Ford’s move as he went up for the layup with 1:32 left.
“When it happened with a minute and a half left, we were still down by eight (92-84),” Horford said. “He got the steal. I just tried to go and block the shot. When he went up, I went up too. He tried to use the rim and I thought he was going to stay on (one) side so I went up and tried to hit the ball and I hit his head.
“He just made a good move and fooled me.”
Horford said he was alarmed by Ford’s hard fall.
“When I saw his head hit twice, that’s when I thought it was serious,” said Horford, who was ejected with the flagrant foul.
Bosh said it didn’t look like a dirty play by Horford.
“Al kind of mistimed it and hit him in his head,” Bosh said. “I don’t think he meant to do it on purpose. He was making a basketball play. He just got him right on his head.”
Woodson spoke with Mitchell after the game.
“I just went down there to let them know our prayers are with him,” Woodson said of Ford.
Players on both benches and fans were quiet as medical personnel attended to Ford.
“I’m a good friend of T.J.’s,” Atlanta’s Josh Smith said. “Knowing about the injury he had in Milwaukee, it kind of scared me. I started praying for him.”
Toronto led 69-68 entering the final quarter but stretched the lead to 82-71 before Marvin Williams, who had 23 points, finally ended Atlanta’s field goal drought with 7:30 left.
Joe Johnson also had 23 points for Atlanta.
The Hawks (10-11) were denied in their attempt to move over .500 after 20 or more games for the first time since 1998-99, their last playoff season.
Ford was 8-of-11 from the field and had 19 points as Toronto led 54-43 at halftime.
The Hawks cut into the lead with a strong third quarter but couldn’t continue the strong play early in the fourth. A three-pointer by Jose Calderon gave Toronto an 87-75 lead.
Bosh had 20 points and 13 rebounds for Toronto.
Smith fouled out with only five points and eight rebounds with 2:45 left, one night after having 25 points and 16 rebounds in the Hawks’ win at Orlando.
A layup by Smith gave Atlanta a 37-30 lead midway through the second quarter, but the Raptors closed the half on a 24-6 run for a 54-43 lead.
Johnson, who had only five points in the first half, made three three-pointers in the third quarter. A driving jumper by Acie Law at the end of the quarter cut Toronto’s lead to 69-68.
The Hawks tried to recover from their slow start to the final period. A three-pointer by Johnson cut Toronto’s lead to 90-84, but the comeback ended there.

last week my partner was playing football and came home complaining of lower back pain. he struggled sitting down and getting up but once up and got his balance by holding on tho the door he would be okay. He went to the doctors which did not help the matter, then the physio who said it was muscular pain and gave him excercises to do. although taken pain killers nothing seemed to help it only got worse… This morning leaving for work my partner sneezed and yelled in pain… he could hardly move he was in such pain we had to get him to A & E to get checked out as this was getting serious. On arrival he was given strong pain killers, x ray which showed there was not much damage so he was relesed. he was given crutches as he was and still is strugglign on his feet. since coming home he has managed to have the odd walk around (not far few steps at a time) and is still having odd spasm in lower back. he finds it hard to put pressre on feet. any tips?? thnx
Most cases of simple backache respond to pain relief measure like rest, aspirin and the application of heat applied by hot water or heating pad. In cases where pain persists or becomes more acute, a physician should be consulted. He may also locate a slipped disk or other abnormality in the alignment of the vertebrae of the spine. visit http://www.reliefmd.com for more tips on how to get rid of back pain.
This morning I woke up with a sharp pain in my lower back. I'm not sure where it came from but I work at Target in the backroom so I'm guessing it could be from heavy lifting, or sleeping wrong. Anyone know any quick relief techniques? I have to mow the lawn today and go to work later.
I'm only 18 too.
Best thing you can do for a muscle strain (which I suspect it is), is to use ice & advil/motrin for inflammation & pain. Taking tylenol might help the pain, but it won't help with the swelling.
If you report to your supervisor that you feel this way, I would hope they assign you alternate duties for a few days to avoid further damage.
Usually things like this resolve with a little bit of rest, but there is a fine line between continuing to be active and re-injuring yourself.
Be sensible, and take it easy.
EDIT:
If you have already reported this to a supervisor at work, they may want you to have it checked out by their worker's comp physician / clinic. If you haven't done so yet, that is the reason I suggested you do so.
I have been having pain since yesterday in my back and left kidney area, particularly near my spine, I was diagonesed with a kidney stone in the left side a few months back, but have been in hospital a few times with pain and now they believe the stone has gone, I don`t think I have an infection but I am scared at what the pain can be, it is a dull pain but it can go more severe like burning or a sharp pain, as I have had stones and infections in the past it does not feel like neither but I don`t know what else it can be. I don`t want to go to the hospital again as they now think the stone has gone and don`t know what is wrong, they make me feel like I am making the pain up, but I am not the last thing I want is to feel like this all the time. I am drinking loads of water, etc and trying hot and cold packs but nothing is easing the pain, if anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful, I live in Spain and I just wish I could be back in uk speaking to a doctor that understands me.
I'm not a doctor, but I have had a similar experience. I have an intestinal disease – when I was at my sickest, I also had a dull pain in my lower back around the kidneys. Tests showed nothing wrong otherwise, so my doctor concluded it was "referred pain" from my illness. Sure enough, once I got the intestinal issue resolved, the back pain went away.
I guess the point is that you could have another underlying issue that needs to be resolved. Good luck!
P.S. Give this link a look-see…
For some reason, yesterday, I developed upper back pain that hurts mostly in my ride side just underneath my shoulder and sometimes extends into my neck. It kept growing worse, I could barely sleep last night, and now it hurts to put a shirt over my head and turn my head to the right side… sometimes even yawning hurts. I don't know what caused this… I'm only 21 years old. The only thing I can think is that I sit at a computer often. Will this go away on its own? I have no health insurance. I just took 2 extra strength tylenol so I'm hoping that will dull some of the pain.
Seems to me it's stress…think about what's troubling you and try to see how to improve/solve it.
Have a massage with a menthol cream and rest (all at no or very very low cost)
Good luck, and relax!
I recently had back surgery to repair a ruptured disk in my upper back. My current bed is very old and worn, and I believe that it is contributing to the back pain that awakens me when I try to sleep in my bed. I don't have much money for a new bed – what can I do to find some relief?
All I can say is the experience I have had and I truly hope my advice, will help..DO NOT SLEEP on a hard floor! I have had back surgery removing dics 4 and 5, a rod was placed, eight screws and a cage, you do NOT need to be laying on a very hard surface, YES it puts your back in straight alignment, but you do not want that as it is NOT comforming to the natural curves of the spine! You NEED somthing that when you place your hand under your lower back when laying down, COMFORMS TO YOUR LOWER BACK! YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE A SPACE BETWEEN YOUR BACK AND THE BED! I have had this surgery, and I have had 4 years of physical therapy (unsuccessful may I add due to my condition) and I dropped 80 pounds..I have come to discover Firm or too soft is no help..I bought a dial a number sleep comfort bed, and it has helped me immensley! You can choose the number most comfortable for you, and it adjusts differently on each side, so each spouse can adjust to their needs..I found the middle number BEST for me..I will never ever be pain free, I was explained by my orthopedist ( and I went to 4 different orthos, getting four different opinions after FREAKING out when I learned the back surgery they each said I needed)..As I will always have back pain, it was reduced with spinal supportive surgery, and I invested in the sleep number bed, and yes I still do use meds, I have NO choice…IM telling you, you must investigate this type of sleep bed for your self, my hubby on the other hand had the same exact surgery himself, and can NOT sleep in the sleep number bed or ANY bed since his back surgery, he sleeps on the recliner, as laying on his back is too painful! My advice to you, is to check out the sleep number bed and ALSO THE CRAFTMATIC bed…the craftmatic bed adjusts to your position when you sleep..YOU NEED to do some "Investigative" shopping..And some of these bed manfacturers will let you try their beds out on a 30 day free trial…As for my hubby and I we are checking into the craft matic bed, if I can switch over to it, I will, I feel horrible he has to sleep on the recliner since his surgery almost a year ago ![]()
Please do your self a favor, never take advice from anyone that hasnt gone through these chronic back problems, DO ask a licensed Physical therapist!!! And PLEASE DO NOT sleep on a floor or a very hard surface!!! That is OLD wives tales for people that do not have "chronic"back pain, and you can do MORE HARM to your back!
GOOD LUCK and BETTER HEALTH to YOU!!!
