SIGNS OF OVARIAN CANCER (even in the absence of Ovaries)

THIS IS A MUST TO READ TO THE END

An Eye Opener on Ovarian Cancer
I hope you all take the time to read
this and pass it on to all you can. Send this to the women in
your life that you care about.
Years ago, Gilda Radner died of ovarian
cancer. Her symptoms were inconclusive, and she was treated for
everything under the sun until it was too late. This blood test
finally
identified her illness but alas, too late. She wrote a book to
heighten
awareness. Gene Wilder is her widower.

KATHY'S STORY: this is the story of
Kathy West
As all of you know, I have Primary
Peritoneal Cancer. This cancer has only recently been identified
as its OWN type of cancer, but it is essentially Ovarian Cancer.
Both types of cancer are diagnosed in
the same way, with the "tumor marker" CA-125 BLOOD TEST, and
they are
treated in the same way – surgery to remove the primary tumor
and then chemotherapy with Taxol and Carboplatin.

Having gone through this ordeal, I want
to save others from the same fate . That is why I am sending
this message to you and hope you will print it and give it or
send it via E-mail to everybody you know.
One thing I have learned is that each of

LITTLE DID I KNOW. I don't have ovaries
(and they were HEALTHY when they were removed), but I have what
is essentially ovarian cancer. Strange, isn't it?

These are just SOME of the things our
Doctors never tell us: ONE out of every 55 women will get
OVARIAN or PRIMARY PERITONEAL CANCER.
The "CLASSIC" symptoms are an ABDOMEN

Ovarian Cancer questions. Please only answers from experienced.?

I am 21 years old and obviously, female.

I have a history of cancers in my family such as colon cancer, breast cancer, etc.

It has been approximately 2 years since I was last at the female doctor for my ultrasound and pap smear test which, everything came back normal. But I have multiple cysts on each ovary which my doctor told me were benign and would eventually go away.

So, 2 years later, I have not seen her since but I have an appointment with her on the 20th of this month.

Yesterday, I was laying on the couch and my Shih Tzu dog of 8 pounds jumped on my lower abdomen basically right over my ovaries and ever since then, I have had lower stomach pains/cramps.

I am fearful that I have ruptured a cysted or have really upset one of them. Is this a sign of ovarian cancer? (the pain).

Also, I have been reading everywhere that multiple cysts on one ovary is basically cancer, however, when she told me that I had multiple cysts on one ovary, it was basically no big deal.

Is it possible to have multiple benign cysts on one ovary?

Also, I was in the ER about 2 months ago with severe migraine and sinus pressure and they took some blood to run some tests. They were concerned about any kind of growths or masses in my head so that is why they took the blood. While running tests on the blood in the ER, would there have been an abnormality in the blood if I did have ovarian cancer?

And last question (I think) is, if I was my a female doctor almost exactly 2 years ago and everything was perfect as far as the screening goes and the cysts were benign, is there any reason to believe that 2 years after being perfectly normal, my ovaries have developed an ovarian cancer?

I am supposed to have a nurse call me back today (we will see if one does) so that I can ask a few questions.

But anyone with experience in this department that could answer and settle a few of my worries would really be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

In my experience i have come across the patients with the same compliant but all or okay now with out cancer and for your information cancer is not genetic one but it may because of the strain created by jump of the dog over you and do not worry you Will be aright very shortly. If you have more pain see the doctor and do as per his advice and be relaxed.

I have lower back and middle back pain. I have had two epidurals.?

It hurts when I lay on my back or stomach and then I get up and move. ecspecially when I arch my back. The pain is mainly in my middle back (where the epidural was at) It's like a shooting pain through my back. And it gives me a shortness of breath. I have been to a chiropractor in between the 2 pregnancies. My back was out of allignment but it didn't help with the sharpness of pain and shortness of breath.

I had this same problem after the birth of my 2nd son. Indeed it was leaking from the insertion point and the way they treated it was to take Vivarin. It shrinks the puncture hole so that the leaking ,which can cause headaches and foot drop and all kinds of stuff, subsides. Sometimes it requires an outpatient surgery to stop the leakage but the Vivarin helped me. By the way, I work for a Chirpractor. I didn't believe in them until this episode but she was the one that told me Aabout the Vivarin then adjusted me from misalignment during birth. Different D.C.'s adjust in different ways so I would encourage you to shop around and only use a D.C. that uses the PALMER method. Chiro's have more classroomtime in Anatomy and Physiology so they know things that most "regular" docs don't learn unless it is their specialty. This is not to say that M.D.s are bad, they're not, but Chiros literally touch every single part of a body before thay graduate.

My right elbow is inflamed from pitching. How do I reduce the inflammation and pain in a matter of a few days

joint injury fresh to 48 hrs old,,,,,,,cold pack,,,,,more than 48 hrs..hot water,,,,,take aspirin if it's never been a problem, tylenol, etc,,,,,,,,doc might inject cortisone + procaine hcl into joint, the consequence of not allowing it to heal, and improve conditioning c/b permanent crippling damage,,,conditioning might involve working biceps, like doing curls, this load on opposing muscles balances stress on the joint

Any quick home remedies for cramps+ lower back pain, thigh discomfort?

I just got my monthly flow and I'm having the biggest cramps, not to mention slight lower back pain and my thighs hurt. :'( I took a Midol around 30 minutes ago and nothing. Is there anything natural I can whip up or any other tips to relieve the pain of all three areas I just mentioned?

Ugh.

Hey hun! Im expecting my period on Saturday! Boo. But take a hot bath, this will relax the muscles. Try a heating pad on ur belly or back too and just try and rest and relax. Also maybe try some tea?

What are some good exercises i can do to help my lower back pain?

I have severe back pain daily. Sometimes it gets so bad it is hard to do anyhthing. Just wondering if others have a good exercise routine that helps their back pain

by not doing anything you make it worse. I’ve dealt with back pain for 10 years.

Before you do any exercising, warm up slowly by walking quickly for 5 minutes.

STRETCH STRETCH STRETCH your back.

exercise your core muscles, legs and upper back regularly.

Include some form of cardio. At first it may only be 20 minutes of walking. But that will help.

I also used accupuncture and was amazed at how much it helped.

Can a soft matress, that sags in the middle be causing me to have lower back pain?If so what type should I hav

Just moved into a flat that has a bed with springs and a mattress on top that is both soft and sags in the middle. Could this be the cause of my lower back pain. If this is the case, which type should I get to prevent back ache and hopefully help cure the pain?

Definitely! A mattress should support your spine by allowing it to remain in a straight line as you sleep. The mattress, therefore, needs to mould to your individual body shape and weight, allowing for a straight spine. Tempur mattresses do this best as they distribute your weight evenly. Same material used by astronauts. Very expensive but worth every penny and I speak from experience! If budget doesn't allow, get a firm, pocket sprung mattress. Each spring is individually covered so they mould more closely to your weight and are the next best thing.

Could someone tell me which of the following herbs would be good to help relieve pain and inflammation?

it will lather up and some say it cleans well.

What can I do to help relieve pain that goes from my lower back down one leg?

You may have a pinched nerve or a slipped disc, or your sacroiliac could be out of place. If I were you I'd go to a chiropractor. They usually take an x-ray to see exactly where the problem is coming from. It may hurt for a while once you have been readjusted, because the longer your back stays out of alignment, your muscles grow accustomed to the misalignment, and they remain painful until they get used to being in proper alignment once again.
If you go to a medical doctor they will give you muscle relaxers to ease the pain, but this will not get to the root of the problem.
I can't think of anything more painful than a backache. I hope you find relief soon.

Back Pain Inversion Table

will a inversion table help my lower back pain and discomfort?

lower back pain for over ten years

Yes, it can definitely help, but I have to agree with the other poster – you should be cleared by a doctor. If you have high blood pressure, inversion is not for you.

I had terrible back pain, and went to a chiropractor for a while. I finally got an inversion table, and haven’t been back since! It really works; it decompresses your vertebrae and gets rid of back/neck pain. If you get one, and are cleared by a doc, you’ll work your way up to doing 15-20 minute inversion sessions. It does take some getting used to; I put my friend on it and he hated it…

So yes, it’s a very good investment. I hope you can get rid of your back pain, I know it sucks. Good luck.
