I used to always lean on my left arm when lying down. About 6 months ago I started getting slight pains when I would lean on it and then I would sit upright and the pain would go. However I continued with my bad habit and for the past 2 days I have been having a constant, very intense, pain in my left shoulder blade that radiates to underneath my right breast. The pain just won’t go no matter what I do. It is just a very intense throbbing ache in my left upper back. Whereas the pain under my breast is more like a sharp pain.
Has anyone got any suggestions or had anything similar? I have taken Ibuprofen and paracetamol both to no avail.
Thanks x

I am 32 weeks pregnant and woke to some discomfort this morning. There was a sharp and painful ache in my middle right back and it penetrated to my abdomen. I have been feeling sick to my stomach today and the pain will come and go whether I am sitting or walking. It’s short and sudden when it comes but very painful. I have a dr. appt. tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone knew it this sounded serious. This is my third pregnancy and by far the hardest.
I have had a cold for several days but it’s mainly allergies so I am pretty sure I do not have the flu.
However, I have been having a terrible ache in my upper right back muscle (right under the shoulder) for days. At times when I breathe deep I seem to feel it in my chest (or lungs) as well.
I am unable to see a doctor at this time so I am hoping to get some good recommendations for pain relief here. Thanks in advance for your help.
