Natural Neck Pain Relief

natural neck pain relief
Neck/Back Pain, Whiplash injury, head & chest pain?

I had a car accident in December just 2 weeks after giving birth and suffered whiplash – I was told where my ligaments were softened still from the pregnancy the recovery could be longer. I have been having physio for this. I have been getting neck and back pain but also lately I get headaches (up into the back of the skull), chest pain and shoulder pain. Do you think this is all in relation to the injury? These latest symptoms have only come on recently but I have been told everything can be related? I am fed up of taking painkillers, are there any natural pain relief available that anyone else has tried that is good and how long does it normally take for things to get back to normal? Bearing in mind, I have a young baby that requires a lot of lifting etc that I can’t rest.

All of life is related and is in constant motion and interactions so a nexus can be placed with your injury to the collision…or something else too.

Regardless of that, I would continue with Physical Therapy and the pain meds as necessary. Maybe you can locate a good chiropractor and acupuncturist too.

I found that the people who are elders who are willing to learn and change their beliefs with practice and experience work the best….

If you can, try getting into a pool for PT…maybe bring baby with you and you both can have fun…

Have known of a man who they said would not walk but with his Friend and a year of PT in a pool…he was walking

Back Pain Inversion Table

would love to hear from anyone who has used an inversion table like teeter hang ups. is it ok for back pain?

thinking of buying a hang upside down table,Can anyone offer advice on which kind and if theyre worth it?

I’ve used an inversion table now for about 3 months. Its great for instant relief if you have the type of back pain that involves pinched nerve or compression damage to the spine.

I use mine about once per day for 3 minutes but if my back pain is bad I will use it up to 3 times per day. Since using it my back problems have reduced but not gone completely but I’m hoping if I keep using it they will.

Before I bought the table I read alot of reviews but decided on Teeter Hang Ups for my Inversion Table after reading a bunch of review site such as this one: http://www.inversiontablereviews.net/teeter-inversion-table

Hope this helps, I’m not sure if it will solve all back problems but it works well for me and the instant relief available when I need it is great, but the relief only lasts for an hour or so then back to the inversion table ;)

Neck Pain Jaw

Why am I having grugling in right lower chest with pain in neck and jaw also on right side?

The other day I woke up with a stye in my right eye as well as severe pain in right lower jaw and neck area under ear. I have also been having strage gurgling feeling in my chest under my right breast. Could these things be realted?? Should I be worried..what are possible diagnosis?? Btw I am a 25yr old female with many health problems ie diabetes, fibromaylgia, arthritis (degenrative disc disease)(bulging disc).

You could be having both lung and heart problems. Diabetes is a risk factor in cardiac problems, and many heart attacks do not have pain in the heart at all, but pain in the neck and jaw are also rather common symptoms, especially in females. If your heart is not pumping strong enough, then fluid could be gathering in your lungs,m hence the gurgling feeling. Yes, you should be worried. You should go to the ER right away! With your general health and your risk factors, these symptoms could be very serious. It is better to make an unnecessary trip than to not go and find out you should have. If it is heart, the longer you wait, the more long term damage to your heart ,or even worse.

The causes of joint pain and muscle and tricks

The pain is caused by inflammation of joints and muscles. Sometimes symptoms resemble those of influenza virus as an acute pain in joints and muscles can make someone feel really sick. The symptoms can sometimes resemble those of arthritis, the joints, which also have a dull ache, swell and become tender. In some patients, the joint pain may not be so serious, but sensitivity can cause intense muscle strength loss.
Almost all joint injuries and diseases produce a stiff, aching pain, often referred to as "arthritis" pain. However, because of joint pain is so general, doctors base usually a specific diagnosis on the presence of other symptoms and results of laboratory tests. For example, Lyme disease is characterized by joint pain and rash a bubble of skin, blood tests showed antibodies to the bacterium that causes Lyme disease. Gout is characterized by a sudden violence to pain in the joints at the base of the big toe, blood tests usually show high levels of acid Uric.
We all have difficulty in meeting joint and muscle pain at some point in our lives. It can attack us in a part of our body or another. Of course, nobody likes to feel pain. However, it is just a necessary evil because it allows us to know who is somewhat wrong in our body. If pain is not there to let us know, we did not think we are in difficulty. Typically, the pain may be Confidential into two kinds: one is acute pain, while the other is chronic pain.
For more than a year after he suffers a near-fatal car accident, Charlie Gardner kept his torrid pace as a civil engineer and an avid skier. Over the months, however, the resident 51-year Montara establish that the creeping unease in his right hip is getting worse. "At first," said Gardner, who spoke with the drawl of his native Tennessee, "I thought it was a tear in my appointment along, but the pain became unbearable. "
Muscle pain and joints can be cured when detected early. In some cases, however, a definitive cure can be possible. In other cases the patient may have to undergo surgery to restore some joints. Lower Back Pain Exercises

lower back pain exercises
my lower back pain exercises?

i have this lower back pain and i went to the doc and got xrays and all that. and i was told it was because i have more of a natural curvature of my spine not scoliosis, but its caused me to have pain when i stand or walk for too long, and i was just wondering if there was a specific term for this.
and i was also wondering if anyone new of exercises i could do to help with the pain cause its taking forever for the physical therapy stuff to start.

He’s referring to lordosis. Lordosis is a natural inward curve in the spine. But what your doctor is really saying is “I don’t know why your back is hurting” because there has been no association proven that an “abnormal” amount of curve in your spine leads to pain….unless you cannot round out your back which we call a lordotic “deformity”…but now I’m getting into too much detail. The PT should be able to give you more answers. I’d suggest a PT who is certified in mechanical diagnosis and therapy. Go to www.mckenziemdt.org. It sounds like you might have an “anterior derangement” (this is a physical therapy term) of the spine and you may respond well to “flexion” exercises. Pick up a copy of Robin McKenzie’s “treat your own back”…some of the information won’t apply to you because it sounds like you don’t have any radiating leg pain, but look at the exercises that focus on flexion in lying. The book might help you decide if this is the right exercise for you. If you respond well to “flexion in lying” you may also respond to Williams flexion exercises which can be found :http://www.backtrainer.com/Williams-Flexion-Versus-McKensie-Extension-Exercises-For-Low-Back-Pain.html. However, I cannot recommend any specific exericse unless you go through the book and use the diagnostic algorithm or you see a PT. The website is good at listing the exercises, but their explanation they use are poor and the research they quoted is outdated and misleading.

Back Pain Inversion Table

Do inversion tables really work to help re leave back pain ?

Different things work for different people. It did not work for me, the only thing that did is exercising in a wellness pool (A pool that is warm). It got me off Vicodin and has given me hope. Stay active! You can only help yourself.
