Lower back pain is keeping me awake. Any suggestions on some tips for relief?
I cannot take over the counter meds (asprin/ibuprofen/etc.). Anyone know of anyone home remedies or other things i can do for some relief?
If this is due to back muscles spasms that you just have to wait
for them to relax….applied heat works….or take a hot shower, then put heat spray or muscle heat rub on right away, and it
will go into the pores, and does help. Also muscle relaxers help for this type of back problem. I used to have them so bad I was really laid up….the doctors say to prop your legs up with a pillow under them, while you are lying on your back…or also put the pillow between you knees…not sure why, but it does help those muscles to relax.
If it is caused by something else…I would still try the heat method….can you take tylenol…I can’t take some things, but the hospitals use tylenol a lot. (not sure I’m spelling it right).
Feel for you…it is not fun to have your back hurting. If it is back spasms…you can improve things by doing some exercises to strengthen those muscles.(when you are feeling better) Not sure why I used to have them a lot, and now don’t at all. May give you some hope they will go away. I did kind of learn when it was coming on and would ward it off with the heat spray right away.
